How to determine if the brake release rod needs to be replaced.
(1) Use a magnet to test whether the brake release rod is attracted to the magnet. If it is attracted, it indicates that the brake release rod has magnetic conductivity.
(2) Some drive hosts have positioning measures in place, so even if the brake release rod has magnetic conductivity, it will not rotate with the electromagnet core. In this case, the elevator complete machine manufacturer (modification) unit or the drive host manufacturer should provide a technical explanation of the effectiveness of the positioning measures, which must be confirmed as effective by the maintenance unit and the inspection unit. Only then can the brake release rod not be replaced.
If there is no design explanation from the manufacturer (modification) unit of the elevator complete machine or the drive host manufacturer, the positioning measures taken by the maintenance unit themselves will not be recognized.
